Question by 23344: What is much better an Apple pc or a Computer?
I plan on buying a desktop genuine soon but I was asking yourself which one I really should get. Are PC’s that considerably much better because they have taken over and most Institution have Pc in their laptop or computer labs and only have a couple of Apple computers. What are the pros and cons of both computers?

Normally PCs are chosen for multiple reasons, such as, available software, devices are normally more compatible, and price is much better if you look around. Example: Apple Mac mini is $ 600 to $ 800.
You can get a PC with better and faster for same price.
Macs are good computers even though. better security, stable and great design. But, as i said there just to over priced for what you get.
Although, the imac is there best deal!! So, if you want a mac check the imacs. The price is good for an all in computer.
PC’s have a MUCH wider range of software available. The peripherals like hard drives, memory, sound cards, etc. etc. are MUCH easier to get for PC’s as well.
Apples made the kick a$ $ game Oregon Trail back in the 80′s, so they’ve got that going for them in the plus column.
It used to be that if you wanted a computer for graphics, everyone said you HAD to have a Mac. Now, PC’s have caught up in the graphics department.
It used to be that PC’s were THE thing if you were interested in modifying your system. Or if you wanted to upgrade one piece at a time later. Now, the better Mac’s are able to be modded/upgraded.
Nowadays, it is really a choice which one you prefer. Mac’s are marginally better at processing graphic programs. PC’s are easier to upgrade (more companies selling parts). Mac’s will run Windows in a dual-boot scenario, so any programs designed for PC’s can be run on Mac’s.
Personally, I prefer PC’s.
No, the biggest selling point of the PC is price. The PC is a little less then half the price of an Apple. But I say you get what you pay for. How many viruses does a PC get in its “lifetime? How many times does a PC crash or move slow because it’s memory is “full”.
Well an Apple doesn’t get viruses, may crash periodically but is easy to bring it back up, it has easy to use applications. So I recommend a Mac is better then a PC.
So put aside the fact that there are PC’s in most school classrooms, most businesses get their employees a PC, and a lot of parents buy a PC for their family.
Buy yourself an Apple and enjoy the power, the experience and the applications a Mac can provide you.
pc – good for gaming
apple crap for gaming
pc cheap
apple expensive
pc can only run windows
apple can run osx and windows
arguably pc’s are unreliable compared to apples, but it depends on whether the user knows what s/he’s doing or not. apples are definitely more idiot-proof
to my mind the only reasons to not get a mac are budget or gaming. If you can afford one and are not a gamer they’re an excellent prospect.
